Heavy Gauge Thermoforming Machine
A heavy gauge thermoforming machine is a type of equipment used in the manufacturing process of thermoforming, which is a process of heating a plastic sheet and forming it into a specific shape or form using a mold. As the name suggests, a heavy gauge thermoforming machine is designed to handle thicker sheets of plastic, typically ranging from 1/8″ to 1/2″ in thickness. These machines use a combination of heat and pressure to shape the plastic sheet into the desired form. The process begins with loading the plastic sheet onto the machine, which is then heated to a specific temperature. Once the sheet reaches the desired temperature, it is moved over the mold and vacuum pressure is applied to form the plastic sheet into the shape of the mold. Heavy gauge thermoforming machines are commonly used to produce large, durable plastic parts such as automotive components, transportation trays, and industrial equipment covers. These machines are typically found in manufacturing plants and are often used for mass production of plastic parts.

Heavy Gauge Thermoforming Machine
- PLC control system with touch screen
- Independently controllable heating zones
- Pneumatically powered clamp frame
- Automatic cooling system with cooling fans, industrial chiller and spray guns
- Automatic vacuum forming system
- 6. Steel components coated with polyurethane
- Far infrared ceramic heating bricks or Halogen heater tubes is optional. Halogen heater tube provides rapid heat response with a greater range of control to form challenging shapes and material, infrared ceramic heating brick has longer service life
